Our history
Paw & Spoon was born from one small dog with big demands – Molly.
From the day she became part of our family, Molly flatly refused to eat ready-made food. We tried different brands, tins, pouches and kibble, with no success. So we started cooking for her at home – with real meat, fresh vegetables and carefully chosen ingredients.
In time we understood that this was not enough. After a health problem was diagnosed that called for a special diet, we turned to a veterinary nutritionist. An individual recipe was created for Molly, built entirely around her needs. Since then her food has been cooked fresh almost every day – with precisely chosen ingredients, vitamins and minerals.
That is how we realised how much time, organisation and knowledge it takes to prepare genuinely balanced home-cooked food. It is not enough simply to boil meat – it needs the right ratio of nutrients, vitamins and minerals so the dog gets everything it needs.
And that is when the idea of Paw & Spoon was born.
We created Paw & Spoon for people who want to feed their dogs fresh, home-cooked food, but do not always have the time and knowledge it takes. Our recipes are developed by a veterinary nutritionist and made with real, human-grade ingredients – with the same care we put into Molly's food.
Our dream is that no dog should have to compromise on its food – whether it is perfectly healthy, simply fussy, or has special dietary needs. Because every dog deserves real food, made with love, knowledge and care.
